Ready to build a marketing function completely from the ground up? This is not an opportunity you come across every day. An innovative medtech company, specialized in advanced vascular implants, is about to enter its first commercial launch after years of development. You would be the first marketing hire shaping this process across Europe. Not a side project, but a role with real impact on what actually matters: patients getting a better life thanks to this product.

About the role

You build the marketing function across three areas, in this order of priority.

  • Sales enablement. You develop and maintain the materials the commercial team uses to convince physicians and hospitals: brochures, sell-sheets, presentations, and technical data sheets. From brief to medical review, from translation to version control.
  • Congresses and events. You lead the European congress presence. From booth design to KOL hosting, from lead capture to post-event follow-up. This is the most visible face of the brand in the market, and you take it to the next level.
  • Digital marketing and marketing operations. You manage the website, SEO, and LinkedIn presence, and keep CRM and marketing automation running smoothly.

On top of that, you steer agencies, write creative briefs, manage budgets, and act as the go-to link between internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of marketing experience within the medical devices industry. Experience in nephrology, dialysis, or vascular access is a plus.
  • Direct experience with a product launch or commercial scale-up in medtech. This is a must, not a nice-to-have.
  • A proven track record managing agencies, complex content production, and on-site congress execution.
  • Strong project management skills. You keep an overview of multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and vendors at once.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems, with the judgment to drive adoption, data quality, and targeted campaigns.
  • You are naturally curious. You show up at congresses, talk to physicians, ask the right questions, and translate those insights into stronger content.
  • A completed bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar.
  • Fluent in English. German and/or Spanish is a strong plus, as these are priority markets.
  • You are willing to travel around 30% of the time, with peaks during congress season.

After years of clinical trials and a CE mark, the company is about to reach its first patients across Europe. A team of over 60 people, spread across the world, works from Eindhoven on something that genuinely matters.
